She live in a mindset that I could never move to

This bar in Capitol Hill is called Tavern Law, named after the licensing laws that essentially legalized the purchasing of alcoholic drinks. I did my undergrad in English and Law, stir a little history (my secret academic crush) into the mix and I loved the place right away. Awesome 1920s decor, old Encyclopedias, newspapers, dial phones, and the best part is a hidden tunnel through the entrance of the bolted door up to a speakeasy just like the Prohibition times. I knew I should have kept my flapper dress in my car at all times for occasions like this. Also enjoyed the bartender, the experimental drinks, and the company (PS: this is your shout out). Since photos were not allowed, I only snapped a few..
