I love eating out but also like making the food I enjoy. I'm no pro, but it's a lot of fun. Look forward to more posts of my adventures at playing chef. ;) Here's when I felt like making something wholesome for lunch. What better than a fresh caprese salad, the ingredients are simple so it's important to have quality produce.
Simple food, simple plating.
You can kind of see my apron from Anthropologie. I'll capture more photos of it another time I'm sure. It's floral with lace and so darling I think I cook just so I can put it on.. Anyway, slice up the tomatoes and separate the basil leaves, super easy. The basil was so aromatic I literally stood there just smelling it for longer than I'd like to admit. Looking crazy is something I'm okay with.
