Growing wheatgrass in the windowsill is a fun project, they came out kind of sparse and patchy so we'll have to sow more seeds, but it's just nice to have something alive and green in the room.

If you don't have a pair of TOMS already, go buy a pair of the most simple and comfortable shoes for yourself, and TOMS gives a pair for a child in need. I love what the creator Blake Mycoskie said, "I thought I’d spend the first half of my life making money and the second half giving it away, I never thought I could do both at the same time." That's what I would love to do, you only get to keep what you give away.

Leaving on a shooting star

Packing, and I use this term very loosely, for a short getaway to San Francisco. Of course I am leaving in 6 hours and I just threw .02% of my wardrobe into a carry on and spent most of my time updating the iPod. Artists currently on repeat repeat repeat: Colbie Caillat, Lykke Li, Drake, Band of Horses, Joseph Arthur, and B.o.B.'s "Airplanes Part 2" with Eminem. So even if I end up with mismatched outfits at least I'll have a good beat eh?

Sun is a stranger in Seattle winter, so when he finally comes out to play in late.... late spring, living suddenly gets very easy. It was one of those nights nearing 8 o'clock, light slightly muted, driving with one of my favorite people, the sunroof open, wind in our hair, and a lovely tune playing over and over. Of course this calls for a spontaneous trip to the meadows where frolicking ensues. There is something freeing about running through a field of tall dry grass to a setting sun. One of the best days (of many) to share with you. Excited to meet you all. Love, C
