Angkor Wat - Siem Reap, Cambodia

Surface to Air shirt, Forever 21 maxi dress, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent sandals, Topshop earrings

I'm a little late on posting these photos from the Cambodia leg of our Southeast Asia trip in August. On this day, we woke up at 4am to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat (maybe made more widely known as a location in Tomb Raider). Waiting in the dark for the temple to be lit up, taking our time exploring all the grandeur temples, and pouring over the details carved into the stone... incredible experience. Over the centuries, massive trees have grown over some of the temples, it's really a sight to see the man-made and the natural so powerfully intertwined. Thankful to have seen this in my lifetime.

I was there this past summer. Seriously, how incredible is this place? I love that you're dressed conservatively as it is considered a holy place. Many tourists we came across were in very short skirts and tank tops even though they were told to dress modestly.

Lovely photos in a very interesting place. It is not everyday that you will see trees taking over an ancient temple.
