Take me out to the ball game

3.1 Phillip Lim trench coat (similar)
Madewell silk combo baseball tee (similar)
Rag & Bone alpaca skirt (similar)
Acne suede booties (similar)
Balenciaga envelope clutch

I've never quite been into dressing that makes complete sense, which ripped jeans with satin heels don't, and maybe that's why I like it. I keep outfits from being too girly or stuffy by having fun, unexpected elements to the look. In this case, I paired the silk+cotton combo baseball tee with a sparkly necklace and an insanely furry sweater skirt (it keeps my urge to get a pet at bay).

Btw, Seattle is like the last kid picked for dodgeball in regards to getting shafted by spring. The sun is deceptive and illusive, it's like the worst lover ever. So many poetic personifications about this foreign orb of light in the sky. All this drama to say, I'm easing into the slightly warming weather with tights and the perfectly light trench coat.

Love the navy/gray/black combo. Not much different weather-wise here on the East coast, we had one week of summer weather, followed by a week of winter, and now we're in spring mode. I have no idea what to do with my closet at this point!

Hahah keeps your urge for a pet to bay. I literally LOLed in my cubicle. I like doing that too, it makes you look so interesting.

I'm thinking of moving to Seattle next year actually, do you have any good things to say about it? What do you like most? I'm on the fence of either there or Portland

Haha! I'm always wondering how all your pictures stay so rain-less, considering you live in Seattle.. anyway, love your Balenciaga clutch girl! x

Loving your skirt, it's so cool. And it looks great with the baseball tee.

I thought Seattle was the rainy city... how do you always evade it?

Adore the rose gold on the envelope clutch! Do you find that the giant hardware makes it extremely heavy? Wish we could see a better detail shot of the skirt!

I'm usually the complete opposite. I love outfits that fit into categories, haha. But then again, I just love categories. J.Crew has kinda been easing me out of this tho. I love their fancy sweatpants and how they put huge costume jewelry with everything! Needless to say, I LOVE the baseball tee (that looks SO soft btw) with that gorgeous necklace.

I love your Balenciaga clutch, lovely color too:)

You know,i actually like your play on with mixing and matching different things to your outfit. Everything seems more fun to look at that way! And you did a great outfit post with that sparkly necklace against your casual attire, love it! "Unexpected elements to look at" - i love this line that you wrote!
