To not look too casual with army shorts, I paired them with a girly necklace and heels for a more city feel. I like that they're versatile that way, and also can be easily worn with sandals when running errands. Anyway, one of my beloved girlfriends works at Marc Jacobs and got me this shoulder bag from her bossman, and it is the perfect everyday bag. The shoulder strap allows me to throw it on and go, and it's small but roomy enough to fit everything I need. I love this outfit! This is a great idea. I've experimented a little with feminizing shorts, but haven't loved the results so far. I think I might just try wearing pumps more often. :-)
