Extraordinary Desserts – San Diego, CA

I have a second stomach for dessert, it’s just a weird undiagnosed science (fiction) type thing that I’m completely convinced about. No matter how full, I always like to at least look at the dessert menu.. see if anything is intriguing.. Anyway, when I went to Extraordinary Desserts last month in San Diego I wish I had multiple stomachs like a cow (really classy lady-like simile). Every pastry was so beautifully made and garnished with extravagant details like edible gold flakes and flowers. I had Vietnamese iced coffee (which I equate to liquid dessert.. espresso with condensed milk? Nice try passing off as coffee) and a caramelized apple salted caramel crème brûlée tart with homemade brown sugar ice cream.

Gorgeous! I love eating pretty food. It makes it taste better. 🙂 I've made a mental note to check this place out if we ever find ourselves in SD again. (I'm sure we will!)

Um, I think we're diagnosed with the same thing? No FERSERIOUS! There is always, ALWAYS room for dessert, cause if there isn't, well it just feels so wrong lol. I've visited there before and it was packed! I was too amused by all the choices though, it felt like heaven for me.

I think we share the same affliction….but be catchy;) And if there was ever a time to have multiple stomachs it would be in a desert mecca such as this. So jealous.
