I’m alive! This past week, I completed my master’s degree!!! Even though the 16+ hour workdays were brutal, being able to learn and do what I’m passionate about are rewarding. Up next, husband and I will finally be going on our honeymoon to Europe! We will be traveling to Paris, Athens, Santorini, Milan, Venice, Cinque Terre, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and London — please comment with recommendations. Thank you!

Congratulations Carolyn! I'm so happy you're back. I missed reading your blog 🙂

Love the outfit by the way. Looks like you've found the perfect leopard loafers. I've been looking for a pair that doesn't look "cheap" for ages!!! I really like yours.

Your honeymoon plan sounds amazing. I'm originally from france so I've been to Paris plenty of times. You will love it! Make sure to get lost in the pretty streets of Montmartre and Le Marais. I'm currently living in England and go to London every week. For the best tapas meal ever, go to Iberica in the Marylebone area. My favourite area to walk in South Kensington and Notting Hill, mostly because of the pretty houses. And of course, don't forget to go for a high tea at Kensington's orangery. So very British 🙂

Can't wait to see your posts!!

And I wanted to thank you for your comment on my blog, it's kinda crazy to me, I use to visit your blog so much and having a comment from you really made my day 😀

Concerning your european honeymoon, in Barcelona I highly recommend you to go to the Boqueria market! It's an amazing food market, and well it's crazy you get inspiration just by walking there, there is color everywhere, and such a special atmosphere!

And I also love your outfit! Your earrings are so pretty!

    Have a nice day ~

Congrats on closing such a huge chapter of your life! I'm dying over the giant hardware on the clutch.. Feeling a tiny twinge of regret over not picking a bag up with that hardware now that it is discontinued.

Love the red lipstick with the simple outfit. Super classy 🙂 Highlights from Paris: In Montmarte, go to Les Refuge des Fondues. Adorable tiny restaurant with the best fondue (you can choose cheese or meat) and they ask you "red or white" for wine served out of baby bottles! (The place is so tiny you have to climb over the table to get to wall seating – crowded every night). Also super cute district with boutiques and idyllic parisian cafes all around. Also wining it up under the Eiffel tower one night to watch it sparkle. Grab some wine, cheese, and salumi from a store (the further away, the cheaper) and sit grab a seat on the lawn with about a million other couples.

Highlights from London: Definitely go to the tkts booth and get some tickets to a West End show! There is a restaurant called the Criterion with a prix fixe three course lunch right near Piccadilly Circus – absolutely amazing interior with original neo-Byzantine architecture with gold and marble mosaics. Absolute opulence and tons of history in those walls. Also wandering through the GINORMOUS Hyde Park and the Serpentine Gallery was perfect (small so as not to intimidate but absolutely full of interesting art).

Definitely let us know how everything goes 🙂
