The Dress: Lazaro LZ3207
I had visited 10+ bridal boutiques and tried on over 30 gowns before I found my wedding dress. Nothing I tried on felt like “the one” until I walked into Marcella’s La Boutique and saw this Lazaro gown on display. I so confidently knew this dress was the one I had been searching high and low for before I even tried it on, and once I did, the deal was sealed! I love the delicate eyelash lace sweetheart neckline on the sheer Alencon lace bodice. The platinum sash bejeweled with opals and Swavorski crystals added sparkle, and the fit of the dress was impeccable.
The Shoes: Jimmy Choo ‘Isabel’ champagne glitter pump
When I was looking for wedding shoes, I wanted luxurious yet comfortable shoes, which is sometimes an oxymoron. But that is what I found in these Jimmy Choo pumps. The champagne glitter fabric is shimmery for a subtle glamour and the low heel made me feel like I wasn’t wearing heels at all.
The Accessories: diamond earrings and handmade veil
My parents gifted me these stunningly intricate diamond earrings on my wedding day. Since my dress had a bejeweled sash, I wanted to keep the rest of the accessories minimal, and these earrings complemented the look without overdoing it. I wear these earrings on special occasions and whenever I see them, I always think of my parents’ generous love throughout my whole life. I will cherish them forever.
I took a veil-making class and actually made my own veil! I just wanted a simple, classic chapel veil and it turned out exactly how I imagined and was so much more economical as well as sentimental.
You looked stunning and your dress was absolutely gorgeous!! Great choice. I can't believe you're selling it though.
xx
Carolyn, I saw your beautiful dress in your previous posts and fell in love. I am actually looking for something very similar to that style, and from what it seems, we are about the same size! Ah, it is simply beautiful. I love your heels too, that's exactly what I'm looking for – luxurious, yet comfy. Maybe I'll just have to buy your whole wedding look….
You were totally stunning! Your dress was perfect! So feminine, and the cut is so so nice! Seriously, amazing! Love the Jimmy Choo and the earring too! Can't believe you're selling your dress by the way!
xoxo

That dress is really really gorgeous, you sure you're selling it!?!?!? lol….the entire silhouette of the dress is just lovely and i like how the ribbon trails off behind you. I also like the lace detailing on the top along with the opal and Swarovski crystal jeweled platinum silk ribbon belt on the waist, it defines your waist beautifully:) And i like the chapel train and how it's just right in length and not too dramatic. As you can tell, i practically love and like everything about your dress, lol
Those diamond floral earrings from your parants are so elegant looking and time less:) It's definitely will hold sentimental value.
And i cant believe you know how to make a veil!!! Too awesome!!!
p.s. I cant wait to see pics after you come back from your honeymoon!!!

your site is mainly made for wedding dresses…..
every bride wants to wear it.i am thinking about that, because i want to wear it on my own wedding.,…
Hi Carolyn! Stunning wedding photos! I am in LOVE with your Lazaro gown! Did you purchase it in ivory or antique?
Hi Katie! Thank you! Mine is ivory with the platinum sash.
You looked stunning! I stumbled on your page while looking online for balayage hair lol. Anyhow… saw that you had a lazaro wedding dress too. Just wondering what you did with it afterwards. I'm still debating preserving it versus selling it. If you preserved it, how did you do it?
Hi Linh! I bet you looked stunning in your Lazaro dress! I soo love their gowns. I ended up selling my dress because that option just made more practical sense for me.
Hi Carolyn! How did you sell it if you don't mind me asking? I saw a few websites available….
Hello! I posted it on preownedweddingdresses.com and received many offers. I ended up choosing the offer from a woman in my own city so we were able to meet up, avoid shipping, and deal outside of the website.
Thanks for the info Carolyn!
Hi Carolyn! I love this dress and tried this dress on a couple months ago. I saw your post too late or else I would have totally bought this dress from you. Do you know if the woman you sold it to would like to sell it? I'm getting married next year. Please let me know. Thank you!
Hello! The woman I sold it too moved to Australia, so I don't know if she'll be selling it and we're no longer in touch. Have you tried looking for it on preownedweddingdresses.com?

Hi. Thanks for your response. Yes, I did. But, the sizes are too big. My waist size is 25. What size did you get?
I can't totally remember now. I'm usually a size 2, so I think I got the dress in 6 or 4 and had it altered to fit, since wedding dress sizing is measured differently.
I'm seriously considering ordering this on preowned or tradesy….I love how YOU look in this. I'm very petite like 5'1 and 102 lbs I am curious how tall you are and your measurements…. I know that's very personal but I want to know If it's possible for me to achieve the same look if I buy this… My favorite feature on myself is my small waist. I love how this dress defines your small waist. I've always felt good in everything except wedding dresses lol. Even if I were to travel 3 hours to try this on I won't be able to tell how it's gonna look. Preowned is the way to go. 😉
Hi Amber! I'm 5'8", 120lbs, around 33-26-34. A good seamstress is the way to go – they can shorten the bodice as well as the hem so the trumpet still hits your knees. I hope it works out for you! I still LOVE the dress years later and I think you will too!
If the measurements are too personal at least knowing your height will tell me a lot about how it may look. Thank you.
Hello Carolyn. Sorry to dig up an old post but I remember absolutely loving the venue of your wedding at CITS. I recently got engaged and am looking around at multiple venues but it has been impossible for me to reach anyone at CITS. I was wondering how you were able to get in contact with them in the first place? I've called the number listed which goes to Amphetryon catering and have tried contacting them on wedding venue sites with no luck. Please share your experience with this venue in terms of communication and how you got a hold of Bob? Thanks!
I am getting married in July 2018 and am interested in CITS and am wondering how you were contacting with Bob? I have tried calling the number listed which goes to the catering (and they have not responded) as well as reaching them on sites such as Wedding Spot with no luck. I'm contemplating if I need to show up in person or if there is a number I'm not aware of. If you have tips for how to get in touch with the CITS manager I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!
Hi Andy, I looked through some old emails and found this number: (206) 467-5533 and email: amphitryoninc@aol.com. I don't know if they still work but may be worth a try. Good luck and congrats on your engagement! Best, Carolyn
