European Honeymoon [2 of 9]: Barcelona, Spain

Photography by Miguel Marino

After Paris, we traveled to Barcelona for the second stop on our honeymoon. Some of my favorite experiences in this city (in the order of the photos):

  1. Mercat de la Boqueria (1€ fresh-squeezed juices, and the most flavorful prawns at Pinotxo)
  2. Antoni Gaudí’s incredible Casa Batlló
  3. Zara in the motherland = cheaper prices
  4. Sangria whenever wherever
  5. Ordering the whole menu at Tapas 24 (favorites: everything, but especially the truffle bikini sandwich and foie gras burger), owned by chef Carlos Abellán of Michelin-starred Bravo 24
  6. Strolling through Gaudí’s Park Guell and admiring the colorful mosaic work
  7. Best tapas at Quimet & Quimet
  8. Blown away by the insanely beautiful construction of Gaudí’s La Sagrada Família
Next destination: Venice, Italy! See our other honeymoon posts here.

Barcelona looks like such a magical city! In that 2nd photo, are all of those little things candies? The bottom part looks like teeny little fruits and vegetables lol

Brings back memories of our honeymoon in Spain! It was only just over a year ago but Barcelona is such a beautiful city and it feels like so long ago we were there soaking up the Catalan culture. So glad you had an amazing trip to Europe! xx, Risa

Barcelona is the beautiful place for travel with family and i like to stay their for long time in villas near beach which makes me comfortable. These villas are fully furnished with all kind of facilities and we enjoyed every moment very comfortably here. Some villa owners also provide free transport facilities here to travel with family. So that is the main reason i like this place very much.
