The Old Sage – Seattle, WA

Husband and I had our first date at Tavern Law, so when the same owners opened The Old Sage next door, we tried it out right away.

Our predictable drink orders.

Simple butter flake bread with cultured butter. You know the carbs are going to be extra delicious when “butter” is in the name of the dish twice, and this did not disappoint.

Flavorful and light roasted beets salad.

Foie gras with peach, pistachio, pine bud, and pumpernickel with rye toast.

Beef short rib with pureed sweet potato dressed with carrot tops.

Spacious yet warm atmosphere, delicious fall menu, and of course expert cocktails…The Old Sage is settling quite naturally into the neighborhood.

That looks so delicious. And I can tell how spoiled your feet are in those rad Chanel flats 😉
