Westward – Seattle, WA

Josh Henderson, the restauranteur of one of our favorite eateries, Skillet, recently opened Westward & Little Gull. Situated in the shipyards and marinas of Northlake, Westward fits right in with its nautical vibe and hands down the coolest patio dining. The outdoor seating offer gorgeous views city views across the water, and since it’s a bit chilly currently, diners can sip and snack around a fire pit cozying up under provided wool blankets. I took advantage of that in this outfit post.

Starting off brunch right with a housemade dill aquavit and clam juice “Queen” Mary.

Grilled Halloumi cheese with persimmons, walnuts, and honey.

Wood-oven baked bagel with wild salmon gravlax and labneh.

Risotto carbonara with pancetta, parmigiano, and farm egg.

After brunch, we stopped by Little Gull, the conjoined grocery and oyster bar. We’ve also tried Westward during dinner, which is excellent, particularly the Manila clam dip with housemade chips.
