European Honeymoon [4 of 9]: Milan, Italy

Photography by Miguel Marino

Milan was a short stop as we were making our way from Venice, Italy to Athens, Greece. It poured like crazy nearly the whole time we were there, but dried up just enough for us to visit a few attractions.

  1. The Milan Cathedral is insanely beautiful. The exterior construction is intricately ornate, and the climb to the top is definitely worth it.
  2. Right across from the Cathedral is the stunning Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world’s oldest shopping malls. Lots of flower-shaped gelato nearby.
  3. Husband wore a Moschino cardigan the first night we met, so he wore it on the day we were at the quirky Moschino hotel, Maison Moschino.

Destinations before: ParisBarcelona, and Venice. Next destination: Athens, Greece!

Milan may have been a short stop, but these pictures are stunning, especially the cathedral. I'm new to 'hey pretty thing' so now I need to catch up on your other travel adventures. I'm particularly interested in your thoughts on Paris b/c my hubby and I just returned from there. Going to read it now!

I first want to say that the name of your blog is so cute and clever!
The photos of the cathedral and the landscape are very nice. It makes me want to hop on a plane to Europe and see them myself! Love it!
