Travel Uniform – Hong Kong

Our Hong Kong trip was brief but so great, as I got to spend quality time with my family for Chinese New Year celebrations. We were there for over a week, and because traveling light is so convenient, I made sure to just pack a half-full carry-on suitcase. The art of minimal under-packing is to only bring trusty basics for daily wear and a couple fun pieces (like this dress) for going out in the evening.

This look I wore while exploring Star, Moon, and Sun Streets in Wan Chai (cutest street names for an adorable destination of boutiques, restaurants, and bars). The outfit is nothing new, but when traveling, I always opt for comfortable yet subtly chic pieces, plus this kept me warm enough for Hong Kong “winter” (60s ºF in February?! That’s the stuff).

Star, Moon and Sun streets? They sound too charming for words – and look adorable in these photos! As do you. Although I must say I can't imagine travelling with only a half full carry on suitcase. That's dedication!

You are so cute and I'm so jelly that you can just put your hair in a top bun and look so chic! My face is too round for that heheh

How fun!! I've always wanted to visit Hong Kong. I have an aunt who lives there so I should take advantage of it. And I totally agree with bringing the basics on a trip with a few pretty things here and there! Love the outfit!
