Uniqlo camel coat (similar – on sale!)
Christian Louboutin “Iriza” d’Orsay pumps
Louis Vuitton epi leather cardholder

I wear work clothes everyday that I rarely feel inspired to photograph it, but I wanted to show one of my typical black and navy work looks dressed up with a fuchsia lip and d’Orsay heels. These J.Crew pants are one of my favorite cuts – they taper and crop just above the ankle, which make your legs appear longer and are flattering even worn with flats (these Tieks black flats are the ones I swear by. My usual work day is more like 7-4, and as a high school teacher I’m always on my feet, so there’s no way I’d ever show up in 4-inch stilettos). Anyway, I recently bought a cardholder for when I’m over big bags and just want to carry the bare minimal.

Hi Annie! No, just had it semi-tucked in the turtleneck. It does make me want to get a trim though!

Love this work inspired look. Those pants are a perfect fit and length with just the right amount of skin showing at the hem.

I think you should show more looks you wear on a daily basis xo

A tailored pant like this is a work staple for me and always look so chic. You look gorgeous! As a former teacher, I feel you on the no heels. Now that I have a desk job, it's fun to be able to wear them every so often. You look so sophisticated in this outfit. I love black and tan together. Those heels are beautiful!
