Spring Trench

Shipley & Halmos trench coat (similar)
Zara t-shirt (similar here and here)
Christian Louboutin “Iriza” d’orsay pumps
Dolce & Gabbana “Ultra” lipstick

A classic trench coat is really worth the investment, as it’s a timeless coat that can be worn during spring and fall season. I’ve had this Shipley & Halmos trench for four years, and I still adore the longer length and unique detailing of the coat. I also love the versatility in styling this coat — in this shoot, I’m wearing easy black cropped skinny jeans and a white slouchy tee, just dressed up with d’orsay pumps and a structured bag. I’ll show a more casual styling next week!

Love the trench on you, it looks amazing for a four year old coat! It's great how a trench can be dressed up or down, can't wait to see the casual look next week ❤

What a chic and stylish look Carolyn! I think the trench coat is the epitome of class and elegance and you wear it so well with the pointed heels and cropped skinny jeans! Love this entire look and of course the back drop (something I wish we have here lol~) xo~ Lena

LOVE your posts! I follow your blog religiously and love how classic and elegant your posts are. Missing your food posts though!

I miss writing food posts too! Been trying a new method of featuring restaurants within a neighborhood/city vs. a singular feature, and that makes the posts few and far between…

I agree about trench coats. But I've never bought one because my hubby doesn't like them for some reason and I have too much trouble investing in something he doesn't like. You look amazing, I love the photos <3
