Seattle to Victoria, BC via Clipper Vacations

How to Get to Victoria, BC:

Last weekend, Clipper Vacations invited us to visit Victoria, BC! We live in Seattle and frequently drive up to Vancouver but have yet to visit Victoria, so we were excited for the opportunity! From Pier 69 in Seattle, we boarded the Clipper at 8am on Saturday and docked at Victoria in 2.5 hours.

After arriving in Victoria at 10:30am, we boarded the tour bus to The Butchart Gardens, which is a package you can book on Clipper Vacations (along with afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress).

I’ll have a full blog post for The Butchart Gardens soon! It’s totally worth a visit. The weather was gorgeous, the air was so fragrant and the blooms were stunning, and the entire atmosphere was surreally peaceful… I Snapchatted a million flowers that day!

Where to Stay:

Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Hotel Resort and Spa

We stayed at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Hotel Resort & Spa in a beautiful waterfront room. The hotel is conveniently located near the pier and downtown, so we were able to walk everywhere.

Exploring Downtown Victoria, BC:

The following day, we walked around Victoria’s quaint and cute downtown. I recommend checking out Jam Cafe for brunch and Hey Happy for coffee, and then just strolling around the boutiques in the neighborhood. Wander over to the historic Chinatown, and visit the famously narrow Fan Tan Alley and have afternoon tea at the darling Venus Sophia.

So fun! My husband and I took the clipper to Victoria a few years ago in the fall! It was so much fun. Victoria was such a laid back and beautiful place. I would definitely go back. We didn't have time to see the gardens or take tea at the Fairmont. Next time. 🙂 Looks like you had an amazing trip! XO – Alexandra

It's been years since I've last been in Victoria BC. I remember I loved going there and seeing all the pretty flowers at Butchart Gardens! Looks like you had a fun mini getaway! 🙂
