Over Memorial Day Weekend, we went to Sasquatch! Music Festival at the Gorge Amphitheater thanks to Toyota! We were loaned a RAV4 Hybrid SUV, which made the road trip even more fun. Here is how our long weekend went down:
Accommodations
I feel so lucky that Toyota put us up at the Gorge Oasis, which is the luxe way to “glamp” (glam camping). The location is conveniently close to the festival grounds. Plus, in addition to a private tent furnished with a mattress, lighting, and electricity, there are also flushable toilets, running water for showers, and a communal tent stocked with coffee and snacks.
Festival
During the day, we chilled on lounge chairs at the Cliff House, a private club with a beautiful view of the Columbia River. We also walked around the festival and checked out the fun Toyota Tent. Toyota partnered with VH1 to support the Save the Music Foundation, a non-profit that provides instruments and music programs to public schools.
Music
My favorite musical acts on Friday night were A$AP Rocky and Disclosure. For Saturday, we had Platform wristbands to go above the stage to watch M83 perform, which was definitely one of the biggest highlights. Then Major Lazer ended the evening with a bang!
All in all, thank you to Toyota for an incredible weekend!!
