London with Virgin Atlantic

I’ve mentioned the news on Instagram already… and I’m so excited to announce on the blog that I’ll be going to London, England at the end of the month with Virgin Atlantic! Starting March 23, Virgin Atlantic will be offering direct flights from Seattle to London, and I’ll be on the inaugural flight!

Shipley & Halmos trench coat (similar)
COS striped top (similar)
Current/Elliott distressed jeans
ASOS plaid scarf (similar – on sale!)

I’m already thinking about outfits to pack for London! The trench coat seems to be quintessential, especially when paired with these red Hunter rain boots that the Virgin Atlantic team gave us in preparation for the trip.

The last time I was in London was on the last stop of our honeymoon. We traveled to 9 European cities for a month (Paris, Barcelona, Venice, Milan, Athens, Santorini, Cinque Terre, and Amsterdam). Husband and I got food poisoning in Amsterdam at this Kobe beef burger joint, which really put us out of commission! We still explored the city, and loved every bit of it, but we were definitely dragging our feet. By the time we got to London, we were pretty tired, but of course still wanted to make the best of our time. I can’t wait to go back to London in a few weeks full of energy to tackle the whole city again!

Please leave your recommendations for things to do and places to eat/drink in the comments! Thank you!

Hello, I really enjoyed your post. I have a lot of experience in the fashion industry and would like to start fashion blogging, however my concern is that at 36 I am too old as all these bloggers and instagram stars are so young. What is your perspective ?
