Spring Fashion Trends @ CUSP Neiman Marcus

I had a blast co-hosting the Spring Fashion Panel at CUSP in Neiman Marcus at The Bravern last Saturday! I got to style a few of my favorite spring looks and talk about upcoming trends. (Btw, get $125 off at Neiman Marcus if you spend $500+ with code: MARCH.)

Look 1: Personal Style
The first outfit I styled is one that goes with my lifestyle and personal style. My work wardrobe is business casual, which luckily gets to translate from weekday to weekend attire as well. The funny thing is, I was wearing an outfit almost exactly like this when I was picking out pieces, but I didn’t realize until this whole look came together lol, so I guess I’m consistent with what I like!

I chose this white blouse with flared sleeves, since sleeve-details are all-the-rage for spring. For the pants, I liked that these patchwork jeans have a 70s feel. Then, I added a knit vest for another layer of warmth, while still being able to show off the cuffed sleeves. I mostly wear flats for comfort, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be fun and embellished, like these gold fringe loafers.

Look 2: Transitional Neutrals
A surefire way to look chic is to dress in monochromatic neutrals and loosen up the silhouette a little bit. This outfit is about merging fall/winter pieces with upcoming spring items.

You can transition your light knits from fall/winter and layer them under a satin camisole. The thin, slip dress straps are reminiscent of the 90s. I kept the top slinky, so it would flow into these luxe, silk pants. With a neutral look, there can be one muted pop of color, so I added this powder blue bag.

Look 3: Vacation Neutrals
With neutrals being such a fresh trend this spring, I wanted to create a monochromatic vacation look too. A few dramatic accessories elevate this tropical style so it’s beach chic.

I kept the same turtleneck from the last look and layered it under this khaki shirtdress that is giving off sophisticated safari vibes. This patterned silk scarf has just enough colorful details to add intrigue to the neutral palette. The accessories really make this look! I especially love this hyperbolic sun hat – you definitely don’t have to worry about getting burnt. These Gucci sunglasses are so extra too, with pink and gold glitter panels.

Look 4: Work-to-Airport
I like clothes that are versatile and practical, but also edgy and modern. These pieces are comfortable, timeless, and wearable. They’re classic for work, and after swapping out a few items, they can be made more travel-friendly, and you still look put together.

For the look on the left, the crisp white oxford is modernized as a short-sleeve with a high-low hemline. I layered a structured blazer on top, which is always a powerful piece. These lace-up pants are so well-constructed and cute, yet the legging waistband is comfy for travel. If you want to splurge, these Givenchy loafer mules are so fierce. For the look on the right, I swapped out the blazer for a soft cashmere cardigan, which doubles as a blanket if the plane gets chilly.

Thank you to all the stylish people who came out to the event! It was so fun co-hosting the panel, and I had a great time chatting with fellow bloggers, meeting readers, and hanging with co-hosts JennKirsty, and Molly.
