Florals feel undeniably “spring”, though it’s still too dreary in Seattle (or in London, where these photos were taken when I was there last weekend) to bust out bright or pastel florals. That’s why I’m liking this darker take on floral during this transitional season.
I wore this look on my first night out in London while roaming around Soho on a food tour. Since it was a walking tour, I knew I wanted to be comfortable so I threw on a leather jacket to keep toasty and sported these flat boots that were made for walking. For spring, I’m loving the bell sleeve trend and that this black floral dress has that slightly flared sleeve detail. Another trend that I’m sure you’ve all been seeing is fishnet stockings (I got mine on Amazon) — I wanted to sport the look but a little more subtly so I layered some sheer tights underneath, which also helped me stay warm.
