[My Birthday!] Afternoon Tea @ sketch – London

Today’s my birthday! In celebration of getting to turn another year older, I thought I’d post these pretty pink pictures from when I had afternoon tea at Sketch in London a few weeks ago.

Sketch was even lovelier than I expected! What’s not to love about being surrounded by pink velour, scones and clotted cream (my weakness), and artwork by David Shrigley? There was also a live string trio playing renditions of classics like “At Last” by Etta James.

We did the rosé afternoon tea set, and while the baked goods seem like small bites initially, I was so full afterwards! The set starts with caviar and a quail egg. You get a selection of two teas, a tiered cake stand of pastries, finger sandwiches (with refills, though I didn’t opt to), warm scone and clotted cream, and a slice of cake.

And, of course, make sure to check out bathroom!
