Gucci Belt Bag & Loafer Mule

We visited Denver, CO a couple weekends ago and I wore this easy look while exploring the city. I’ve always loved fannypacks and since they’re back in vogue, I decided to really go for it and invest in this Gucci leather belt bag… and I love it! It’s so nice to be hands-free when you’re traveling.

Comme des Garçons Play striped top, Levi’s “Wedgie” jeans (size down), Ray-Ban wayfarer sunglasses,
Gucci fannypack belt bag (I’m wearing a size S) & Gucci “Princetown” loafer mule (half size up),
Moorea Seal double hoop earrings (similar), Smith & Cult “The Warning” lip lacquer

A Gucci fannypack is definitely “extra”, but it’s practical while also being trendy. I don’t carry much with me, and it fits my cardholder, iPhone, keys, and lipstick (but not too much more). Sometimes a fannypack makes the overall outfit look too casual or touristy, but this leather one is sleek and elevated. I got the size small, and I use it on the third hole of the belt when I wear it high on the waist. If you want it to be slung lower on the hips, you may consider sizing up.

I’ve also been wearing these gray Levi’s “Wedgie” jeans nonstop, since I was so obsessed with the Levi’s “Wedgie” classic blue jeans (I styled them in these outfit posts here and here). I sized down in the gray color but got my usual size in the blue color. To me, this is the chic silhouette of the season: high-waisted with a relaxed fit and a cropped, tapered leg. Dare I say I may be growing out of my decade-long skinny jeans phase?!

Love the red loafers! I have that shirt in black and it’s such a staple too 🙂
