I can’t believe we’re about a month away from Christmas! As we’re approaching Thanksgiving in the United States this week, I’m preparing to check off all of my holiday shopping. One of the best things to gift is beauty and skincare products (I’ve already bought lots for myself — oops!), so I linked to some of my favorite items below in this Ultimate Beauty & Skincare Gift Guide:
Hand Cream
Diptyque “Eau Rose” hand cream ($35)
My daily lotions are quite practical, so it’s fun to elevate this item during gifting season. The Diptyque hand cream features my favorite rose scent (I have this fragrance in the perfume and candle versions as well!) and I like the sleek pump dispenser.
Lipstick
On me: Burberry “Oxblood” liquid lip velvet ($34)
Lipstick is my favorite makeup product — I love wearing a simple eye look with a statement lip color. I have many red lipsticks that I adore (a couple are linked below), but my favorite is Smashbox “Bawse” liquid lipstick — it’s matte yet hydrating and it stays on all night. One of my go-to daytime rosy nude lipsticks is Hourglass “I’ve Never” lipstick, plus the gold packaging is sleek and refillable.
Nail Polish
butter LONDON “Afters” nail polish ($18)
Nail polish is the perfect little stocking stuffer — I think it’s sweet that my mother-in-law puts one in my Christmas stocking every year. The colors that are on my nails for the holiday season: metallics and burgundy.
Korean Skincare
Left: AMOREPACIFIC enzyme peel ($22)
Right: Whal Myung skin elixir ($58)
I have a pretty tailored and extensive skincare regime, and when I find amazing products, I like to gift them to my family and friends. I recently discovered the AMOREPACIFIC enzyme peel, which is a powder that you mix with water and the paste gently exfoliates and makes your face super smooth. I follow up with the Whal Myung skin elixir that claims to be an herbal medicinal blend created for the Korean royal family of the Joseon dynasty in 1897. The texture is light like an essence — I use it at night for extra hydration after toning and before moisturizing.
Gift Sets
Clé de Peau eye color pencil set ($95)
Gift sets are no-brainers as they already come beautifully packaged. I’m guilty of also buying them for myself! Often these gift sets are limited edition, like the stunning Chinoiserie designs of the Clé de Peau collaboration with Bainbridge Island artist Kathe Fraga.
I’ve linked some of my favorite products (these classic Fresh lip balms, the Estée Lauder “Advanced Night Repair” serum that I use nightly, and the most scrumptious-smelling Herbivore Botanicals “Coco Rose” sugar scrub to name a few) below that are now available in a limited edition gift set.
Happy shopping! I’ll be uploading more gift guides and sales this week, so check back soon!
