I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas weekend! We don’t get a lot of snow in Seattle, so I was excited to wake up to a white Christmas this year! Because of where I live, I don’t have much snow gear, but I do own tons of raincoats and rainboots, so I got to wear some of the new pieces that I got for winter.
Since we get a lot of rain in Seattle, I have accumulated quite a bit of rain gear and I especially love my Hunter boots (I own three pairs!). My favorites are from their Refined line, because like the name implies, the boots are sleeker and more slender. I have the Hunter refined matte tall rainboots and they’re so flexible and comfortable. I just added these Hunter refined gloss quilted short rainboots to my collection. The glossy finish, quilting, and gold details are dressy, and I like that the Hunter branding is black and subtle. The boots are structured yet light.
I own the classic Hunter raincoat, but I wanted a thicker coat for colder weather and the refined fitted down coat is perfect for moderate Seattle winters. Puffer coats can be bulky and shapeless, but this one is slimming without sacrificing warmth. You can layer one sweater underneath, but size up if you want to add any more layers.
