My Go-To Travel Outfits: [Affordable!] Cashmere Joggers

travel outfit inspiration

I’ve got some fun trips lined up in 2018, so I thought I’d put together two of my go-to travel outfits for this season. While I like to look somewhat put together while traveling (unless it’s a redeye flight, then I’m barefaced wearing PJs pretty much lol), the most important things to me are comfort, warmth, and ease.

That’s why I’m loving these Grana cashmere joggers — they’re cozy but can also be dressed up. They’re made with 100% Grade-A Mongolian cashmere and they’re soo soft. In comparison to other cashmere joggers on the market, these are more reasonably priced because Grana is a start-up that focuses on honest pricing with quality fabrics. (For example, I bought this Grana silk slip dress for under $80!)

Here’s how I styled cashmere joggers two ways:

CÉLINE Trio crossbody bagGucci Princetown loafer mules, Smith & Cult “The Warning” lip gloss

If the flight is short and I have to hit the ground running when I land, I try to dress up in an outfit that works from plane to lunch. Loafer mules make going through security a breeze since you can just slide them off, but if you anticipate rushing through the airport, I would recommend the Gucci Brixton loafers that can convert to mules (I just got them for Christmas and they’re soo comfortable). In the spirit of ease, I also like to wear a crossbody bag when I travel so I can be hands-free.

On longer trips, I’m all about warmth and comfort. I always get soo cold on planes — once I was flying to Hawaii so I was just wearing shorts, but I shivered for all 6 hours of that flight and brr…lesson learned! Now I layer with a midi cardigan and a wrap scarf that can double as a blanket. As for travel bags, I have both the Longchamp Le Pliage Neo tote and the crossbody tote and I’ve used both for work and travel for years since they’re durable.

I’m heading to Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, and Los Angeles on a couples trip with some friends next month and I’m so excited to get some sun! I’ve never been to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree, so if you have some recommendations, please let me know in the comments!

I love your go-to travel outfits! I like that the first outfit with the leather jacket looks like something you can easily transition for a night out on the town.

could you share your size and which size you got for the joggers? do you feel like they’re see through at all?

Hi Yoona! I’m usually a size 25/26 or 0/2 in pants. I sized down and got the joggers in XS and they fit great! If I wanted a slightly looser fit I would have gotten a S. They’re not see through at all.
