Whenever we get one sunny day in Seattle, I start wishful dressing for spring. The sun peeked out this weekend, and I immediately put on this cute striped sweater from Joie. It’s the softest, lightest wool/cashmere blend that’s the perfect transitional knit. Plus, I love the special details: the mockneck, bell sleeves, and lace-up sides are fun updates on this classic sweater.

Last year, I bought the Gucci “Princetown” loafer mules and wear them allllll the time (I’ve worn them here, here, here, and way more), so I recently got these Gucci “Brixton” convertible loafers because I knew I’d be living in them too. While they are convertible, I probably would never wear them as mules because I think the back looks a little odd when you step on them. But I chose the “Brixton” over the Gucci “Jordaan” loafers because the “Brixton” leather is softer and the look is slightly more casual. I wanted a shoe that would be comfortable for work, travel, and running around town, so the “Brixton” is great for that. If you want a dressier loafer, I would recommend the “Jordaan”. In terms of sizing, I’m my usual size for the “Princetown” loafer mules and I took a half size down for the “Brixton” loafers. Shop more styles of loafers here!
