Tulip Fields & Spring Dresses with BHLDN

BHLDN Tati maxi dress bridesmaid wedding

The blossoming of tulips always signals the arrival of spring, so once the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival opened in Washington, we drove a couple hours from Seattle to visit. In true Pacific Northwest spring fashion, it was pouring that morning on our drive there, but the moment we arrived the skies had cleared! That was serendipitous because I had gotten the amazing opportunity to photograph a couple spring dresses for BHLDN, so I seized the opportunity while we were at the tulip fields to shoot these looks.

I’m wearing the BHLDN Tati Maxi Dress in light blue with Eira Crystal earrings. It’s the perfect fresh color to wear as a guest or a bridesmaid for upcoming weddings. The dress also comes in ivory for brides, be it for a bridal shower or your wedding. The lace is lovey and delicate, and the dress is so fun and flowy. Sometimes off-the-shoulder dresses can be a worry, but there is stretch in this one so it stays on and you can move your arms!

This is the BHLDN Ginger Convertible Maxi Dress in the most stunning emerald color and Elizabeth Cole earrings. These convertible maxi dresses come in tons of colors — in addition to white — and are so versatile. I love the cross back style that I sported in this look, but you could also wear it in a Grecian twist back, halter bow, full coverage, and many more ways as shown in the how-to illustrated guide. It’s like owning eight dresses in one!

Thank you to BHLDN for sponsoring this post.

These dresses are gorgeous! The wardrobe stylist in me is freaking out about the mud. If we were doing a photo shoot there, you would definitely have a garment bag under you to protect the dress!

haha The mud was definitely tricky to shoot around! Thankfully the dresses were dry cleaned right away after the shoots and were just fine. 🙂
