Rust Burnt Orange Midi Dress with Patterned Jacquard Cardigan

We’re in that mid-March transitional weather period when the sun is out yet it’s still pretty chilly, but all I know is that I’m so over wearing my winter clothes! During this time, a midi-length dress with a coatigan is the perfect layering combo. You can see more of my transitional season outfits here.

Margaret O’Leary jacquard coatigan (c/o), & Other Stories midi dress (shop more long sleeve dresses), Isabel Marant booties (more affordable versions here & here), Moorea Seal wool hat (similar) and fringe earrings (similar), Tod’s crossbody bag, Stella & Dot “Luna” necklace (c/o), Kat Von D “Lolita II” liquid lipstick

This jacquard coatigan is such a fun layering piece for this upcoming season — it can be worn over a white tee with jeans for the weekend, or mixed with additional patterns for a more interesting look like in this outfit.

We’re currently planning a trip to Arizona for spring break: Scottsdale, Devil’s Bridge, Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon. Aside from packing a bunch of hiking gear, I’ll also be bringing this look for evenings out in the city. Please let me know if you’ve been to any of those locations and if you have recommendations!
