Summer Wedding Guest Dresses

Wedding season is upon us! I was honored to be a bridesmaid in a dear friend’s wedding a few weeks ago and I picked out this gorgeous ASOS seafoam satin midi dress (under $65!) to wear. I have two more weddings to attend this summer, and I’ve bought my dresses and accessories already, so if you need some inspiration, shop below!

I didn’t intend to wear these Chanel ballet flats with this dress, but it was because I could not find the heels I wanted to wear (I may have donated them on accident during a severe KonMari purge?!) lol. Ideally, I would have paired this dress with a nude d’orsay pump or a silver kitten heel sandal, but these flats proved to be super comfortable for dancing in all night and that’s the most important, right? 😉

I love the retro puffy sleeves and button details of this ASOS dress, and also that it’s chic while modest. I personally believe in erring on the side of conservative when it comes to choosing a dress as a wedding guest. There’s a time and place for a sexy mini low-back deep plunge little black dress, like a bachelorette party, but it may not be appropriate if it takes attention away from the bride during the wedding.
