Revealing My Dining Room Makeover with Room & Board! [Part 2/2]

Room and Board Rand Dining Table Cora Side Chairs

I have been partnering with Room & Board to redecorate our dining room — you can read all about our story and design process here! We were deciding between the Portica Table and Peyton Chairs or the Rand Table and Cora Chairs. Then, we were also choosing between quartz, marble quartz, or marble for the dining tabletop. With the help of the Room & Board design team and votes on my Instagram stories haha, we were able to pick out our dream dining table set that I’ll be revealing in this post!

This is a quick photo of our dining room before — you can read more about our old dining set and reasons why we wanted to redecorate. Without further ado, below is our new dining table and dining chairs from Room & Board!

Table: We picked the Rand Table because the legs match with the silver accents in our kitchen area, but the floating tabletop made this piece more modern and special. You can choose from 9 table sizes — we went with 72w 36d 29h, which is a bit shorter than our old dining table, but finally allowed us to center the table under the chandelier.

Tabletop: Our countertops are white quartz, so we originally thought of getting a similar tabletop, but then we fell in love with the Venatino marble top. However, we wanted something really low-maintenance, so we got the best of both worlds and picked the marbled white quartz composite tabletop, which is super durable but looks like marble. You can select from 28 different tabletops to fit any aesthetic and style.

Chairs: I liked the high back of the Peyton Chair and how it brings the eyes up to our tall ceilings, but ultimately, we picked the Cora Chair because it is SO comfortable. The seat is plush and the wings of the chair hold you in like a hug haha. We’re already finding ourselves hanging around the dinner table longer, and I work for hours at this table. We chose the Tatum Grey boucle fabric, but you can pick from 35 various fabrics or customize your own chair.

Other Details: The in-home delivery is $99, which is seriously more than worth it. Deliverers provided a reasonable timeframe, arrived on time, and brought in the table and chairs fully assembled in an impressively professional way. We didn’t have to do any lifting, navigate upstairs with heavy furniture (I always get Ross Geller “pivot!” nightmares lol), or deal with boxes and packaging.

We are so head over heels about our dining room makeover! I am truly thankful to Room & Board for this opportunity to partner together. They helped transform our space that was just utilitarian and functional into one that is also stunning and inviting. We love gathering around the table to share food, stories about our day, laughter… and we’ve already hosted family and friends and cannot wait for more fun memories!

Dining set was gifted from Room & Board. Thank you for supporting companies

What a lovely result! I love the style you’ve picked and how warm it feels. Everything looks amazing (and the aperitifs look delicious), but the lavender flowers are the cherry on top. Thanks for sharing 🙂
