We went to the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert in LA last week and saw BTS, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Billie Eilish, Halsey, Katy Perry, and more! Can you tell which musical artists we were the most excited for?? 😉It was such a fun time! Read on for concert and outfit details.
We went to the Jingle Ball Village at 2pm to try to score BTS Meet & Greet tickets haha — obviously/sadly, we didn’t win, and I wouldn’t recommend doing it. For one, we waited in line to get into the Village for 2 hours. Once inside, there was not much to do until doors opened at 6:30pm, as all the booths were pretty much ads. We waited in line for an hour for food… there was just a lot of waiting. Thankfully I was with friends so the time passed quickly!
BTS opened the concert and started right at 7:30pm. They performed three songs: Boy With Luv, Make It Right, and Mic Drop. It was a blast but such a whirlwind and the 15 mins went by too fast! I’ll have to go to just a BTS concert next time for their 3.5 hours set haha.
If you’re thinking of going to Jingle Ball, make sure you factor in plenty of time to drive to Inglewood (~30 mins from downtown without traffic) and park in the event lot ($30). We heard some people were stuck in traffic and then couldn’t find parking so they missed BTS — so sad! 🙁The acoustics and view in the venue are not the best, but the artists make the experience worth your while.
Reformation “Maya” red dress (similar), Gucci “GG” tights, Supreme x Hanes socks, Frye combat boots (similar, splurge versions here and here), Louis Vuitton “Lockme” backpack (on loan c/o Bag Borrow or Steal), Nina ear crawler chandelier earrings (splurge version), NARS “Vain” matte liquid lipstick
I wanted to be festive for Jingle Ball but also comfortable, so I opted for this red mini dress that I’ll be wearing all season but dressed it down with combat boots. I treated myself to these Gucci tights that add a bit more fun to the look. I had this Louis Vuitton backpack on loan from Bag Borrow or Steal, and it was the perfect chic and small concert bag (I also styled it with this street style look). People either went hard with the Christmas costumes or not at all, so you can really dress however you want for the concert!
Let me know if you have any Jingle Ball questions in the comments! Or tell me your BTS bias if you’re Army. 😉💜
