Since I get asked these questions a lot, I thought I’d compile a post of my favorite people in Seattle for hair cuts/color, brows, lash extensions, and nails. As usual, these are my genuine recommendations and I’ve been going to some of these people for years!
Hair Cut and Color — Essensuals London Salon
I’ve been going to Jason and Robert, twin brothers and owners of Essensuals London Salon, for almost 5 years! I trusted them with chopping my hair a few years ago. They have decades of industry knowledge, so my hair cuts and colors are always modern and on trend. They care about my hair health so I appreciate their honesty — Jason knows exactly how much hair to trim and Robert’s able to lighten my hair without bleach.
About 3 years ago, I finally got sick of drawing in my eyebrows, so I went to my first microblading appointment with Lindsey McAndrews and the rest is history. You can read all about my microblading/powder brow experience here. Lindsey is an absolute pro and perfectionist — for something as serious as semipermanent makeup, I fully trust her and have been going back for touch-ups ever since!
Lash Extensions — KAILASH
I found Kaire on Instagram last year and booked a lash extension appointment right away. She is a true artist, builds her volume lash fans individually by hand, and does glam lashes like no other. I usually get Natural Volume, but sometimes she gives me the Volume Fill when my lashes can handle it! Kaire is also so sweet and hilarious — you’ll have fun convos while getting gorgeous lashes.
Nail Art — Varnish
I’ve been scarred at some nail salons so I used to rarely get my nails done, that is, until I found Varnish. It’s the cutest boutique salon owned by two extremely talented and artistic sisters. I’ve been going to Kim for gel nail art, but they do it all. I just DM her on Instagram photos of nail inspo, and she’s so creative that she makes the photo come to life and goes above and beyond!
Next, I’m working on compiling a list of massage, facial, and waxing spots in Seattle. Please leave a comment if you have recommendations!
