We celebrated the long weekend with a fun day trip to Lilliwaup, WA! If you’re looking for a quick little getaway in the Pacific Northwest, here was our itinerary:
- Head south from Seattle and make a pit stop in Olympia for coffee and pastries at Left Bank Pastry, one of the 100 best bakeries in the US, and enjoy the treats with a waterfront view at Percival Landing Park nearby.
- Cruise on the gorgeous Pacific Coast Scenic Byway to Hama Hama Oyster Saloon. They take walk-ins, but we made reservations for a guaranteed table. We feasted on oysters, grilled oysters, clams, and crab mac & cheese with rosé, beer, and a stunning view!
- If you have more time, hike around the Olympic National Park or drive further to explore Port Townsend.

For the road trip, we drove a Lexus ES 300 Hybrid, which is the most fuel-efficient non-plug-in luxury car ever made. The car is so well-insulated and quiet, we bumped a summer playlist and breezed to our destination. I love the large multimedia display and sunroof, though my favorite feature is the AC-ventilated seats that kept the ride cool! Thank you Lexus for sponsoring the trip!
This looks like an amazing time!
