These past few weeks have been emotionally and literally exhausting with work, as educators are putting in 12-16+ hours daily with no weekends off. I won’t speak to it yet, but it is ironic with the timing of my education series haha. I’ll eventually continue the series when I have time in the evenings to write again.
For now, I’m publishing a partnership post with Aurate New York that’s due this week, to be transparent. I’ve been partnering with Aurate for almost 2 years! Not only do they make all my favorite gold earrings that I truly wear daily, but they also practice ethical jewelry sourcing/making, and they donate thousands of books to support the developing literacy of children in need across U.S. schools. As a former English teacher, I can definitely get behind that!
I don’t know about you, but once meaningful, fine jewelry get in my rotation, I never take them off. For example, I’ve been wearing the same rings for years (my wedding rings, a rose gold diamond band gifted from my parents, and the most dainty pearl gold ring from my best girlfriends). Earrings are especially important, as poor materials could cause skin irritation, so I totally believe in investing in quality earrings for everyday wear. These days in particular, it’s even more so about quality over quantity as I don’t switch up jewelry while working from home. What jewelry do you wear almost everyday?
