This past weekend, Chateau Ste. Michelle invited me to experience their outdoor igloos in celebration of Women’s History Month. I brought my best friend and pandemic podmate who is one of the women I most love celebrating life with! She works for Seattle Colleges and has told me about how Chateau Ste. Michelle provides wine for their annual Believe Gala and funds the John Sarich Scholarship for students in the culinary program. CSM is also a part of the Woodinville Wine Country Diversity Scholarship that supports minority and under-represented students within the winegrowing and winemaking programs. Cheers to that!
For Women’s Heritage Month, we tasted four wines from women winemakers: Sauvignon Blanc by Tracey Keller, Viognier by Kara Koh, Merlot by Holly Wells, and Cabernet Sauvignon by Leah Adint. Fun fact: Leah Adint was a recipient of CSM’s Viticulture Enology Scholarship! These wines were perfect paired with a charcuterie platter and dishes by the Metropolitan Grill! The igloos are heated and have various openings that allow for airflow. Between uses, they’re aired out and cleaned with an electrostatic disinfectant sprayer.

SHEIN lavender blazer (shop more oversized blazers) and gummy bear necklace, Zara tank bodysuit (similar),
AGOLDE jeans (shop more AGOLDE jeans), & Other Stories glitter socks (sold out – similar),
Stoney Clover Lane tie dye face mask (shop more face covers), Chanel slingback pumps (affordable version)
It was odd to dress up again! I dusted off clothes I hadn’t worn in like a year. Since it was sunny and felt like spring, I brought out some of my pastel pieces. Blazers and pumps can sometimes seem too office-y, so I opted for an oversized blazer silhouette with jeans and fun accessories to make the outfit less stuffy. Shop more spring season picks here!

<3 Had so much fun with you! Great to see what Chateau Ste Michelle is doing to highlight women, and to empower their local community in higher education. Thank you for sharing that!! Also hello, spring!
This looks like fun!!
