We went back-to-school in-person at my district last week! This is my third year out of the classroom (time flies!), and while I’m no longer a high school English teacher, my work style now that I’m in an office is more or less the same as when I was in front of the classroom.
Here are 5 of my favorite back-to-school teacher outfits that are versatile for a range of settings:

#1: A-Line Dress
The modest knee-length dress is a go-to piece for work, and the a-line style is a professional shape. Shop more work dresses here.

#2: Cardigan
I think I have an oversized cardigan in literally every color haha. It’s a more cozy, casual layering piece compared to the blazer.

#3: Blazer
I think I also own blazers in every color and pattern, though I especially like a fun statement blazer when the occasion allows for it.

#4: Culottes
Culottes are the perfect transitional work pant during fall. The wide-legged silhouette is chic and the cropped length highlights footwear.

#5: Tweed Jacket
I got this IRO jacket years ago and still wear it all the time! Tweed can be an investment, but it’s so timeless and classy.
