Had the best time celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary a couple weekends ago at The Lodge at St. Edward Park!

The Lodge opened in 2021 and is the stunning restoration of a 1931 seminary designed by the same architect of the Space Needle.

The rooms used to be the seminary dorms, though they combined multiples to make a larger room. The Lodge had a Graco Pack N’ Play set up in our room for baby girl, and we brought a blackout cover and our Hatch sound machine — it took her a little while to settle but then she slept soundly!

We had all our meals at Cedar + Elm on-site — the Executive Chef is Luke Kolpin who we met at Noma in Copenhagen when we dined there years ago! The menu is PNW-inspired (get the hearth-roasted black cod!), and we toured the Chef’s garden and apiary where produce, herbs, and honey are harvested for the restaurant.

Lots of family-friendly activities! The Lodge has a few pickleball courts that are free to reserve for guests, so we played for an hour while girlie crawled around as the whole gym was empty — it was so fun! Then it was Gray’s nap time, so we hiked down to the water, which was so peaceful and she fell asleep in her carrier.

While Miguel took Gray to lunch and the playground, I got a 90-min Dry Buff and Aromatherapy Massage with a honey foot exfoliation from the Vita Nova Spa, and it was heavenly!!!
Thank you to the Lodge for gifting us the perfect relaxing weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary! We made so many fun memories together as our little family.

Then my parents watched baby girl as we went out to The Butcher’s Table and got drinks at mbar after. 13 years together and date nights are as fun as ever. <3

Thanks hubs for these beautiful blooms from Acorn Floral Boutique! Happiest 11 years of marriage!
